This marks a 19.49% increase compared to last year,” he stated. According to John Kapi, the provisional results for school candidates were released earlier on August 23, with 603,328 students participating from 20,395 schools. Bethel Baptist Church Dansoman is pleased to announce ENCOUNTER 2025, a powerful five-day revival event that will serve as the grand climax of the church’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.

The revival will take place from September 1 to 5, 2025, at the church premises in Dansoman, featuring a lineup of renowned ministers including Rev. Gabriel Sekyi-Yorke (Senior Pastor), Rev. Dr. Fred Degbe, Rev. Victor Brew, Rev. Emmanuel Osei Yeboah, and Rev. Benji Amoah.

The event schedule runs from Monday, September 1st through Friday, September 5th at 6:00 PM each night, with the Grand Climax, a Thanksgiving service on Sunday, September 7 at 8:00 AM.

This revival comes as the final major event in what has been a remarkable year of celebration for Bethel Baptist Church Dansoman. Throughout 2025, the church has successfully organized twelve major programs under the theme “Celebrating the Goodness of the Lord, Abounding in Every Good Work.” Previous anniversary highlights include the January 29th donation program to Ghana Baptist Convention institutions, the February 14th Happy FM Valentine’s Mass Wedding ceremony, the March 9th Ghana Day Food Bazaar, and the upcoming June 4th-8th Pentecost Week celebrations.

Array of ministers

“As we approach the grand finale of our Golden Jubilee celebrations, ENCOUNTER 2025 represents more than just a revival meeting – it’s a divine appointment for spiritual transformation and renewal,” said Rev. Gabriel Sekyi-Yorke, Senior Pastor. “After 50 years of God’s faithfulness to Bethel Baptist Church Dansoman, we believe this encounter will launch us into our next season of ministry with fresh vision and power.”

Rev. Sekyi-Yorke explained that the seven-day event is designed for anyone seeking a deeper relationship with God, spiritual breakthrough, or personal renewal. “We have assembled a powerful team of anointed ministers who will bring biblical teachings, prophetic insights, and healing messages that will ignite fresh passion and purpose in people’s lives,” he added.

The Senior Pastor encourages everyone, members, friends, and the entire Dansoman community, to join what promises to be the greatest spiritual gathering in the area this year. “Come expecting God to do something extraordinary in your life. Bring your family, friends, and loved ones because heaven is ready to pour out something special during these seven days,” Rev. Sekyi-Yorke stated.

The event is open to the public and admission is free. Bethel Baptist Church Dansoman is located in the heart of Dansoman, Greater Accra Region. For more information about ENCOUNTER 2025 or other anniversary events, please contact the church at 055 122 4474 or 026 688 0120.
