BREAKING NEWS: Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka passes on

Founder and Leader of Kristo Asafo Mission, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, has reportedly passed away.

According to information shared by his daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo on Sunday, September 14, the distinguished man of God and industrialist died peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

The Safo family, together with the Kristo Asafo Church, confirmed the news, describing his death as a profound loss to Ghana and the world.

Apostle Dr. Safo was celebrated not only as a religious leader but also as a visionary inventor, philanthropist, and industrialist. He was the brain behind Kantanka Automobile and numerous innovations that showcased Ghanaian creativity and self-reliance.

Throughout his life, he left an indelible mark by blending faith, science, and technology, inspiring generations through his ministry and groundbreaking inventions. His immense contributions to local manufacturing, philanthropy, and the promotion of African identity remain unparalleled.

Details regarding his final funeral rites will be announced by the family and Kristo Asafo leadership in the coming days.
