The American International School sports complex in East Legon came alive on Friday , September 19, 2025, as the Ninani Group staged its much-anticipated annual inter-group games.

The event brought together staff from its subsidiaries; Innova DDB Ghana, Touchpoint, Rezultz, ID (Interactive Digital), Brandalert, and P2P—for a day filled with competition, camaraderie, and plenty of laughter.

The games, which have become a signature feature of the Group’s calendar, were designed to encourage team bonding, promote wellness, and inject a healthy dose of competition among colleagues. Staff competed in football, table tennis, and athletics, alongside lighthearted but fiercely contested activities such as Lime and Spoon Racing, Press-offs, Squatting Challenge, Skipping Ropes Challenge, and Tug of War.

There were also indoor favourites like Scrabble, Draughts, and Ludo, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Speaking to the media, Human Resources Manager Akosua Apau Aworae described the annual gathering as more than just a fun day out.

“The games are an annual event, and we’re excited to see our staff come together and showcase their skills,” she said. “It’s also about keeping everyone in good shape while strengthening the unity among our different brands.”

Mrs. Apau further hinted at an exciting addition in future editions of the games—clients being invited to join the competition. According to her, this will not only deepen business relationships but also foster a larger sense of community around the Ninani brand.

For staff members, the day was a welcome break from the routine of deadlines and meetings. Many highlighted how the games gave them an opportunity to interact with colleagues from different subsidiaries in a relaxed, fun environment.

“These events are a great way to bond with our colleagues from other departments and subsidiaries,” one participant remarked. “We should have more events like this in the future.”

The football tournament was the highlight of the day, producing exciting matches from the preliminary stages through to the final. Rezultz Advertising clinched third place after edging TMPC/Brandalert, while Interactive Digital (ID) triumphed over Innova DDB/P2P Ltd in the final to take home the ultimate prize.

Interactive Digital walked away with 5,000 cedis as champions, while runners-up Innova DDB/P2P Ltd received 2,000 cedis. The victories sparked jubilant celebrations, with players and supporters alike praising the organizing committee for putting together a memorable event.

By the close of the day, one thing was clear, the Ninani Group’s inter-group games had once again delivered on its promise: building stronger bonds, celebrating talent, and proving that teamwork extends far beyond the boardroom.
