The Ghana Education Service (GES) has removed Charles Akwasi Aidoo, Assistant Headmaster (Academic) of KNUST Senior High School, following a viral video allegedly showing him in a compromising situation with a female student.
In a statement signed by Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations at GES, the Service emphasized its commitment to student safety and professional integrity.
“Mr. Aidoo has already been removed from office and prohibited from going to the school while thorough investigations are being carried out,” the statement read.
GES assured the public that due process will be followed and disciplinary action taken in accordance with its code of conduct.
“We strongly condemn any acts that compromise the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of students,” the statement added.
The Service reaffirmed its dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and child protection across all schools.
