A member of the Ashanti Regional Communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mavis Yeaboah popularly known as Political Mavis has described the number three (3) slot secured by former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on the party’s presidential primary ballot as a sign of good fortune for the campaign.

Speaking in an interview with happyghana.com on October 10, 2025 at the party’s headquarters , Asylum down – Accra, she expressed confidence that the position would work in Dr. Bawumia’s favor as the party gears up for the next general elections.

She explained that being positioned in the middle of the ballot gives Dr. Bawumia’s team a strategic advantage.

“We believe being in the middle allows us to attract supporters from both sides . it gives us visibility and balance,” she said.

She added that the number three spot symbolizes the Holy Trinity, which, to her, signifies divine favor and completeness.

Expressing optimism about their chances, She stated that Dr. Bawumia remains the most capable and visionary candidate to lead the NPP to victory in 2028.

“The number three is not just a number; it’s a message of hope and success for our team,” she remarked, reaffirming her belief that the former Vice President stands out as the best choice to continue the party’s vision for Ghana’s development.
