President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Paris, France, to participate in the 8th Edition of the Paris Peace Forum, scheduled for October 29 to 30, 2025.

The annual forum brings together world leaders, international organizations, and civil society actors to deliberate on pressing global challenges relating to peace, governance, and sustainable development.

During the two-day event, President Mahama is expected to engage in high-level discussions with heads of state, policymakers, and development partners on strengthening peacebuilding mechanisms and advancing inclusive growth in Africa and beyond.

Following the forum, the President will travel to Cairo, Egypt, at the invitation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to attend the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday, November 1, 2025. He is expected to return to Ghana on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Established in 2018 under the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron, the Paris Peace Forum serves as a platform to promote collective action and multilateral cooperation in addressing global crises, from climate change and inequality to digital governance and conflict prevention.
