The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), in collaboration with other security services, will on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, conduct a joint route march across all military garrisons nationwide as part of end-of-year security activities.

The exercise will involve personnel from the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Prisons Service, and the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority.

According to a media advisory issued and signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin of the Ghana Navy, Acting Director-General of Public Relations at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, Accra, the march is aimed at reassuring the general public of the unwavering commitment of the Armed Forces and other security agencies to maintaining peace and security before, during, and after the festive season.

In Accra, the route march is scheduled to begin at 4:30 a.m. from the El-Wak Sports Stadium, proceed through designated routes, and end at the same venue.

The Ghana Armed Forces has encouraged media houses to provide coverage for the event to help inform the public and promote confidence in the country’s security apparatus.
