President John Dramani Mahama has recommitted his administration to ethical leadership, service above self, and governance anchored in integrity, competence, and compassion, at a non-denominational thanksgiving service held at the Jubilee House.

President Mahama emphasized that thanksgiving must be accompanied by recommitment, and outlined key areas where his administration is recommitting itself. “Today, we recommit to ethical leadership, service above self, and governance anchored in integrity, competence, and compassion,” he said.

The President also highlighted the importance of listening to the voices of the vulnerable, youths, and those who feel excluded, saying, “We recommit ourselves to listening especially to the voices of our vulnerable, our youths, and those who feel excluded.”

Furthermore, President Mahama stressed the need for national unity, stating, “We recommit ourselves to the unity of the nation, knowing that Ghana’s strength has always come from our ability to rise above division and work together for the common good.”

Looking ahead, the President acknowledged that the year will bring challenges, but also opportunities for growth and development. “The year ahead will demand even more from us, it will test our resolve, our patience, and our discipline, but it will also offer us opportunities to deepen the reforms we have started, opportunities to accelerate our growth, and ensure that development and progress touches every part of our country,” he said.
