An Adenta Circuit Court has adjourned proceedings in the case involving Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, to June 10, 2026, as prosecutors work to complete their disclosures.

Ebo Noah, a self-proclaimed prophet, is facing charges of publishing false news after allegedly predicting a catastrophic flood that would destroy the world on December 25, 2025. He has pleaded not guilty.

When the case was called on Wednesday, March 18, the accused appeared in court accompanied by family members.

He remains on bail set at GH¢100,000 with two sureties, one to be justified, and is required to report to the police weekly.

Prosecutors told the court that Ebo Noah circulated multiple videos across social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, in which he warned of an impending global flood and claimed he was preparing an ark to save lives.

Investigations revealed that the claims were false. The prosecution stated that the accused later admitted during police interrogation that the supposed “ark” did not belong to him but to fishermen at a boatyard in Edina in the Central Region.

He further admitted that the videos were created to attract attention and grow his online following.

Ebo Noah was arrested on December 31, 2025, at Weija-Gbawe following an intelligence-led operation. The complainant in the case is the Ghana Police Service.

The court adjourned the case to allow the prosecution to finalise its disclosures.
