Ghana Tourism Authority launches "See Ghana, Eat Ghana, Wear Ghana, Feel Ghana" Campaign

A spectacular display of Culture, Music and Ghanaian food was on display at the serene Christiansborg Castle on Friday , June 30th 2017 as the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) launched its much anticipated ” See Ghana, Eat Ghana, Wear Ghana, Feel Ghana” Campaign.
The event which brought together key stakeholders, celebrities, members of the diplomatic Corp and Media provided a perfect platform to restore stalled efforts at selling Ghana to Ghanaians.

Welcoming Guests to the occasion,the CEO of GTA, Akwasi Agyeman reiterated the Authority’s committment to partner the private sector to “take our destinies in our own hands and project our rich culture, tourist attractions, local delicacies, music, film and clothing” .

The choice of the Castle as a venue also provided a historic context and the Minister of Tourism , Arts and Culture ,

in her keynote confirmed that the project has full Presidential backing and is one of the initiatives to drive domestic tourism. Amongst the digitaries at the event were the Ambassadors of USA, Nigeria, Brazil and Columbia. Professor Atukwei Okai, Ms.Joyce Aryee , Emmanuel Adu Sarkodee ,VanVicker, Dada KD, Bob Smith , Okyeame Kwame, etc were some of the other dignitaries. The MCs for the occasion were Benard Avle of CitiFM and Akosua Hanson of YFM.
