South African Premier League side, Maritzburg United, have completed the signing of Black Stars goalkeeper, Richard Ofori, on a three-year-deal.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper joins the club from Ghanaian Premier League, Wa All Stars, having strongly been linked with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns.
A brief statement from Maritzburg United reads: “MUFC confirm the signing of Ghanaian goalkeeper on a three-year contract with a further option,” United said in a brief statement on Thursday.
Ofori was named best goalkeeper for the 2015/2016 GPL season, and has vast experience at both junior and senior level for Ghana as he is currently the first choice goalkeeper for the Black Stars.
