Nigerian born American based dancehall artist Flexhibitz is popping and if views on YouTube are anything to go by, the New Yorker is indeed the next big thing in the musical genre.
The DEM NUH LIKE WI hit maker since the release of his latest single twebenmi has been on shows in the tri state area (New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York)   in the East Coast.
Flexhibitz who was born by Ghanaian parents, and call himself a Ghana boy is based in the Bronx and has been approached by top record labels and produces in New York after his hit song DEM NUH LIKE WI.
The fast rising dancehall artist claims the Ghana music industry is trifling and his tunes and records with top produces and engineers will make the differences when he releases his album later this year.
Benjamin Tetteh moved to the States at a tender age, and after listening to records from Bunny Killer, Bennie Man, Tairus Riley, Lucky Dube and Bob Marley his inspiration and affection for music grew.
“The records from these great artist had an impact on my upbringing right from my school days in Ghana, but I became more into the music when I migrated to the United States. Music is dynamic and I don’t really call myself a dancehall artist though what I do now is dancehall.
“People say am dancehall artist and I take it as it is, but when the album drops people will know the real me and the kind of music I do.
“I do music not just for the fun of it, but I do music to inspire and motivate people in this cruel life that we live in.
Flexhibitz has a host of singles out in America and it’s about to embark on a promotional tour in the Caribbean’s and in Africa Ghana in the upcoming days.
The 27 year old’s album 18 songs is ready for the market not only for his numerous fans in the United States but his home country Ghana.
Asked if he is ready to do any collaboration with giants Shatta Wale and Stoneboye the Bronx based artist stated that “if the opportunity present itself that will be awesome but he is not in contact with any of them to do any record as at now”. “Shatta Wale and Stoneboye are not competition, i see them as superstars who are trying as much as possible to put the name of Ghana on the International level. Like what I have been doing since the release of my record in the Bronx, putting Ghana out there for other people to know.
A rookie in the Music scene but Flexhibitz is indeed about to take the music industry to a different new level when he releases his album later this year.
Below is Flexhibitz hit record Dem Nuh Like Wi a video he shot in Ghana.
