Kevin-Prince Boateng has had his contract at Las Palmas terminated due to ‘irreversible personal reasons’, the club have confirmed.
The decision comes less than three months after the 30-year-old signed a new three-year contract at Los Amarillos, where he reportedly turned down the offer of a pay increase.
A press conference has been scheduled for Wednesday evening at 5pm (CET) to clarify the reasoning behind the Ghanaian’s departure with Boateng and club president Miguel Angel Ramirez expected to be in attendance.
