Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Braimah Akambi has urged the Referees Review Committee to ban referee Prince Amoah for life following how bad he was in their game against Aduana Stars.
Alhaji Akambi, who is also Hearts of Oak’s representative on the Premier League Board asked the Inspector General of Police to interdict Prince Amoah from the Ghana Police Service and implored his family to disown him for rubbing their name in the mud.
Speaking on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Alhaji Akambi added that he will have the shock of his life should Referee Prince Amoah not be banned for life.
“I have never seen a referee exhibiting such poor level of officiating since I started watching football from the 60s. We’re writing officially to the Referees Review Committee. If the referee is not banned for life, I will have the shock of my life. It was clear from the onset that he came into the game with his own agenda. He came in purposely to rob us and it was disgusting. I also entreat the Ghana Police Service to sack him for bringing the name of the service into disrepute. In fact his family should also disown him because he has disgraced them.” Alhaji Akambi charged on Happy FM.
He added that as a Muslim, he was fasting ahead of the Ramadan on Friday and will pray against him throughout the day.
“Tomorrow is Ramadan so most Muslims, including myself, are fasting today and I am using this period to fast against him and I’m urging all muslims in Hearts of Oak to also pray against referee Prince Amoah.” Alhaji Akambi added.
