Central Regional chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) , Mr Allotey Jacobs has said the minority in parliament can kick against the free senior school  policy which has just been  launched today at the  West Africa Senior High School at Adenta in Accra but he will not do so.
According to him the minority are speaking for their constituents and not the party as a whole.
He made these remarks today during a studio discussion on the the launch of the famous campaign promise of  the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Mr. Allotey further revealed that the only time he will criticize the policy is when it is not being implemented properly.
“I, as Allotey Jacobs, will not speak against the policy. This is because when I do so I will be speaking against members of my party who will as well enjoy the policy” , he added.
He  further  revealed that the government is using the school facilities built by the previous government, the Mahama led administration.
He said educating the Ghanaian child will help eliminate illiteracy in the country and propel them to making better choices in future elections.
“when people are educated well , they can be able to digest political matters and vote for the right candidates thereby preventing all manner of propaganda.
He was quick to add that the policy is not a threat to the opposition party NDC.
Mr. Allotey has urged his  party supporters and sympathizers to go along with the government on the policy and advised the government to implement the policy well to meet the desired purpose.
He has also called on government appointees to learn from the mistakes of the NDC and remain focus and not use the policy to mock members of the opposition National Democratic Congress .
