The Deputy Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has pulled the breaks on an obvious untruth told by the National Organizer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in relations to the increment of the admission fees of trainee nurses across the country.
The NDC’s organizer Kofi Adams was reacting to the story of the restoration of nurse’s allowance on Happy FM’s afternoon show dubbed ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ hosted by Kwame Affrifa Mensah in Accra.
Earlier, Adams told the presenter that the NPP’s decision to restore the allowance is robbing Peter to Paul because whereas they have restored the allowance they have increased the admission fee of students threefold.
It is view of this Mr. Dominic Aduah, the NPP’s Deputy Youth Organizer challenged his assertion saying it is an obvious untruth.
The Deputy Youth Organizer and aspiring for the National Youth Organizer said there is no where that the NPP administration led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has increased the fees paid by trainee nurses.
It is not true and I know for a fact Mr. Adams is not being frank with the issue he posited.
However, the Spokes person for the Trainee Nurses Association when called to clarify the issue he said the last increment they saw since last year.
Adoma said this year paid between one thousand and seven hundred Ghana Cedis as fees.
He admitted that over sixty to sixty-three thousand students have received their allowance since the government announced the restoration of the allowance
