Maverick politician and New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has cautioned the Commissioner of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Kofi Nti to stop his nefarious dealings with some custom officers who are allies of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) or face his wrath.
“He (Kofi Nti) should go and ask Alfred Agbesi Woyome what I did to him,” he stated.
It would be recalled that it was the vigilance of Mr Kennedy Agyapong that made the country become aware of the infamous GH¢51 million judgment debt involving Mr Alfred Agbesi Woyome.
Kennedy Agyapong who was speaking on Oman FM’s National Agenda show which was live on Net 2 TV , expressed disgust at the Commissioner for passing unpalatable comments about him.
According to the outspoken law maker, he revealed some dealings in a certain vessel on Oman FM some weeks ago and it got to the attention but the Commissioner of GRA who was not enthused about it.
The Assin Central MP who spoke with anger said “If Kofi Nti is arrogant I’m more arrogant than him.”
He continued: “He (Kofi Nti) didn’t spend a penny during the campaign. I spent money and also spoke on campaign platforms, where was he.” He quizzed.
“This is his last warning. If you’re an NDC or NPP I don’t. Whatever is against Ghana I will fight it,” he said
