President of Phar Rangers Football Club, Nana Yaw Amponsah represented Ghana at this year’s world renowned Wyscout Forum held at the Stamford Bridge in London.
The Wyscout Forum affords clubs, agents, football business entities and federations come together to network and build synergies for football industry activities.
This year’s event saw 120 clubs across the globe, mostly European clubs participating including over 150 agents who also took part in the Forum.
Speaking to HappyGhana.com, Nana Yaw Amponsah, who is also a sports lawyer and FIFA Intermediary, noted that the forum affirmed the believe of the outside world on Ghanaian talents.
“This year’s event was a really successful. The feedback was great as always as people still believe in Ghanaian talents and are ready to give opportunities to them as well as cooperate with Ghanaian clubs. I personally had interactions with about 30 clubs over the two days and I believe Ghana in general will benefit as my club alone cannot supply the needs of these clubs.” Nana Yaw Amponsah told HappyGhana.com.

Nana Yaw Amponsah, who has boldly indicated his intention to take over the reins of Ghana Football Association president in 2019 with the release of his lip-smacking manifesto, further disclosed that he has concluded talks with Spiideo as is posited in his manifesto.
“Spiideo is a camera system the records football training and matches and transfers into iCloud. It allows clubs to record their matches and training sessions with a minimum of a four-camera system that allows play-back with live viewing anywhere in the world. I mentioned in my manifesto that I will situate one in each league centre of the two top leagues and I have concluded talks for the first four demos to be done at four venues to be chosen. This system will help clubs to easily sell players as the right videos will be recorded. The FA will also have less issues with camera men not producing quality materials and losing vital actions during games.” The astute and shrewd football administrator revealed.
