Nana Addo wore knickers to Asantehene mother’s funeral

The Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Brogya Gyamfi has given an interesting twist to the happenings at Otumfour Asantehene Osei Tutu II mother’s funeral yesterday in Kumasi the Ashanti Regional capital.
He said he was amazed to see the sitting president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  wearing ‘knickers’ and short sleeve smock popularly known as Fugu among the people of the North to the funeral grounds.
The aspiring  National Youth Organizer explained that the president did not dressed properly for the solemn occasion to mourn the mother of the king of Asanteman.
Brogya Gyamfi made this revelation on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show when he passed through the studio ahead of the panel discussions moderated by Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
According to him, if it had not been the inappropriate dressing of the president, he would not have ever seen his bare legs and the hair on his stomach.
He posited that the president seems to be a joyous mood at the time the whole Asante kingdom was mourning the late mother of the Asantehene and the death of several students who have been killed by the alleged ‘Ebola’ disease that has hit the Kumasi Academy .
