2017 national best teacher honoured

The Gadangme Muslim Council has honored the 2017 National Best Teacher Award winner Madam Faustina Corpson, for her hard work, dedication and commitment to the nation.
The founder and President of the Council, Sultan Nii Nortey Caesar presented a citation to Madam Faustina Corpson during an end of year Quran Recitation organized by the Council in honor of the awardee over the weekend.
Other personalities who have distinguished themselves and contributed immensely towards the development of the Gadangme community were also recognized and awarded accordingly.
The maiden awards ceremony was graced by personalities from the academia, politics, chiefs, opinion leaders, clergy, security services, students and the media.
The citation presented to Madam Faustina Corpson by the Gadangme Muslim Council read, “Your teaching is characterized by an extraordinary devotion to students, boundless enthusiasm, and an unsurpassed knowledge of your field.
Students praise you for the amiable, caring manner shown for all.
Your commitment to fostering a congenial learning experience for students is perhaps best demonstrated by the initiative you took to breed togetherness for each other among the students.
You have created ambience that makes the students feel an academic home in school”, it continued.
The President of the Council, Sultan Nii Nortey Caesar in his remarks acknowledged the tireless efforts of the leadership of the Council that has yielded continues as well as positive and effective results for the Gadangme people and beyond.
In appreciation of the honor done her, Madam Faustina Corpson thanked the leadership and the members of the Council for remembering and recognizing her work.
She promised to put in more efforts in bettering the lives of students and to stand as a role model to women and the girl child in their aspiration to achieve higher height in future.
She called on her colleagues in the teaching field to give out their best and ignore the notion of how much they would be paid but what they have to offer the nation.
