The aspiring first Vice Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Michael Omari Wadie says that the arising issues of insecurity in the country are gradually being detected and the party is getting to the source of all these insecurity issues in the country.
According to Omari Wadie, all the operatives under the then governing National Democratic Congress (NDC ) were given guns to protect themselves and up to date none of these guns have been returned.
Now with these insecurity issues getting out of hand, i would personally suggest that different measures should be taken to have the guns retrieved from these goons.
He related that the various police stations including the head offices lack Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras to record daily happenings outside the stations.
He noted that looking at the situation such situations should be addressed with the provision of CCTV cameras.
He explained that pointing accusing fingers at the Inspector -General of Police will not help.
According to him, the man is doing everything in his power to solve the insecurity issues once and for all so Ghanaians should remain calm he stated.
