Tema- based artiste Solomon Antwi popularly known as Yaa Pono says he not thinking about awards and not bothered about it.
Yaa Pono made this assertion on Happy FM’s showbizxtra hosted by doctar cann, when he was asked if he is bothered about how he is not being recognized by the Ghana Music Awards Organizers.
He said “oh no, am not bothered at all , I can’t put plagues on my cabinet and starve. I had 120 contracts last year and I know that is the most important thing”.
“Some other artists have more than 20 plagues in their cabinet but they are starving”. he added
The Gbee Naabu hitmaker, has quickly risen to become not just Ghana’s but one of Africa’s premier and best loved freestyle hip hop artists.
He finally disclosed that although he is not normally recognized in award schemes in here Ghana, he is content with his success in live performances opportunities that comes his way.
