The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Youth Entrepreneurial Authority (YEA) has minces no words to say the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) used a solid one year to investigate the mess the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Stephen Opuni  left behind at COCOBOD.
According to Awal Mohammed, the former CEO left a mess that NPP carefully investigated to come out with 27 findings against him.
He claimed per the investigations that the government has done it does not surprise him the kind of charges that has been brought against him.
The man and his cohorts thoroughly cleared their acts but the NPP also thoroughly investigated their acts to come out with the large findings against them.
He made this comment as a panelist on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Osofo Nyansa Boakwa on Accra-based Happy FM.
He claimed that very soon more of those prosecutions will be coming up as the government has investigated the circumstances that led to some former officials of the NDC causing financial loss to the state.
He said the complaints of nobody has been prosecuted over the past year will be put rest this year as more of such prosecutions coupled with that of the Special Prosecutor will be rolled out this year to serve as a deterrent to public officers who hope to engage in corruption to defeat the president’s concept of ‘Ghana beyond aid’ .
