The United States Major League Soccer entered week two and with several Ghanaians plying their trade in the country, Lukman Evergreen brings you the performance of these players in week two.
Week two was full of excitement with Latif Blessing grabbing his first goal for Los Angeles FC, Ebenezer Ofori made his debut for New York City as the Columbus Crew shine once again.
Latif blessed with debut goal as LAFC fly in MLS

Former Ghanaian Premier League MVP, Latif Atta Blessing continues to flourish since stepping foot in the United States. His move to expansion side Los Angeles FC was a big surprise to many including fans of former club Sporting Kansas City, where he won the US open Cup last season.
However, the 20 year old has settled in Bob Bradley’s team quickly, netting his first goal for the club in their 5-1 thrashing of Real Salt Lake. Blessing scored in the 33rd minute and lasted the entire duration of the game.
Ebenezer Ofori makes New York City debut as Ema Boateng continues to create goals

Having struggled to replicate the form that saw him move from Sweden to Germany to play for Stuggart, the Black Stars midfielder after a terrible Bundesliga debut season decided to move to the MLS, where he signed a yearlong loan deal with New York City FC.
Ofori missed the season’s opener but Patrick Viera handed the Ghanaian his debut in their 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The former New Edubiase midfielder came on with 20 minutes remaining to help his side grab all three points.
Meanwhile, another Ghanaian who featured and played an important role in the game was Ema Boateng, who provided the assist for Giovanni Dos Santos to halve the deficit for L.A Galaxy.
Abu Danladi missing for Minnesota due to injury but Richie Laryea sees 90 minutes for Orlando City

Striker Abu Danladi continues with his recovery after picking up an injury in Minnesota United opening day defeat to San Jose Earthquakes. The youngster lasted only 19 minutes in that game.
Meanwhile, compatriot Richie Laryea lasted the entire duration as his Orlando City side lost to Minnesota United 2-1 at home.
Bismark Adjei Boateng made the bench as Colorado Rapids lost to New England Revolution

The youngster was not part of the team in the season’s opener but was on the Bench as Rapids lost to New England Revolution. He was an unused substitute.
The Ghanaian Crew in Columbus shines as they sunk Dominic Oduro’s Montreal Impact

The Ghanaian quartet of Harrison Afful, Jonathan Mensah, Lalas Abubakar and Gyasi Zardes, who represents the United States at the International level played significant roles in Columbus Crew flying start to the MLS.
Lalas Abubakar earned a penalty which was converted by Federico Higuain as the Argentine chalked a milestone at the club. However, Abubakar gave the club a scare after he felt unconscious and was substituted in the final minute of the game.
Jonathan Mensah and Harrison Afful played the entire duration as former L.A Galaxy star Gyasi Zardes score twice in the victory.
Dominic Oduro was an unsused substitute for the Canadian side Montreal Impact.
*Philadelphia Union were not in action at the weekend, hence the absence of David Accam and C.J Sarpong, who signed a contract extension with the club on Wednesday.
