2017/18 GPL: Hearts, Kotoko Draw Away In Week 1-Scorelines, Table & MOTM

Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko earned a point each in their respective opening matches in this week 1 fixture in the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians drew 1-1 with new league entrants Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman.
Hearts of Oak talisman, Winful Cobbinah scored the opening goal for the Rainbow Club in the 9th minute through the penalty spot.
Techiman Eleven Wonders got the equaliser through veteran striker Alex Asamoah.
At the Sogakope, Red Bull Arena, Asante Kotoko avoided a defeat as they were able to hold WAFA at home.
The Porcupine Warriors were looking to end WAFA’s 44 home game unbeaten run but were lucky to escape with a draw.
Aminu Mohammed scored first for WAFA through a free kick in the fifth minute and Yakubu Mohammed got the equaliser for Kotoko a few minutes later.
