Dennis Nana Dwamena popularly known as KiDi, one of Ghana’s fast rising musicians has lifted the lid on how managed to secure collaboration with Nigerian superstars, Davido and Mayorkun on the remix version of his hit track, ‘Odo’.
During an interview with DJ Advicer host of Happy FM‘s Ayekoo after drive show, the MTN hitmaker winner disclosed that he didn’t have plans of doing a remix version of the song until Mayorkun, who had heard the waves the song was making whiles in Ghana contacted him.
Mayorkun, who has signed unto Davido’s record label, went to the Lynx studios a day before he left the shores of Ghana to record his part.
KiDi further stated that, two days later, the ‘Love You Tire’ crooner told him to check his mail via a text message, and to his surprise, there was vocals from him and his boss, Davido on the remix.
The UG alumnus said that he was so shocked to hear it and therefore called all the members of his team to celebrate.
The 24-year-old currently has a new single out titled ‘Adiepena’ which is receiving massive airplay.
