Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ernest Sowah has expressed his desire help Hearts of Oak win laurels after completing a deal to join the club on Wednesday.
Sowah completed a two-and-a-half-year-deal move to the Phobians as a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Asante Kotoko last week.
Speaking to Happy FM, the 30-year-old custodian expressed his delight and indicated his determination to help the club become a major force both on the local and the continent.
“Yes I have signed for hearts of Oak for two and half years, it’s a personal decision I took and if it wasn’t good I wouldn’t have signed but I believe it will help me as well as my family,” Sowah said on Happy FM.
“My main objective is to help Hearts of Oak win African competition as well as the league, which has eluded them for the past eleven (11) years, not forgetting the FA Cup too.”
“What I will tell Hearts fans is that I thank them for the confidence they have in me and also given me this great opportunity to don the Phobian jersey.”
