Prince David Osei backs Agya Koo in Kumawood is 'DEAD' claim

Ghanaian actor and producer Prince David Osei has made a comment on the issue of Agya Koo claiming that Kumawood is currently dead because he was sidelined.
There has been a lot of talk in recent times with regards to the current state of the Ghanaian movie industry, specifically the ‘Kumawood’ section of the industry – where several advocates believe it’s dying.
Agya Koo has gone further to say that Kumawood is dead because he was sidelined, a comment which Prince David Osei has warmly welcomed during an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM‘s Ayekoo After Drive Show.
“Well Agya Koo has a stand for saying what he said because Agya Koo has contributed massively to the growth of the Ghana industry,’’ Osei told Happy FM.
“He is a legend and we can’t take that from him, so maybe he has witnessed something that is why said that. Even when Agya Koo was not really vibrant the Kumasi people were shooting, so if he is to make such utterances then it means there is something that he has seen,” he concluded.
Prince is an award winning actor and has been featured in some international movies.
