Eddie Doku,Manu behave like dogs when they see money – Nii Lante Vanderpuye

Former Sports Minister Nii Lante Vanderpuye has said the Ghana Football Association (GFA) still has people with integrity but for Eddie Doku and Kofi Manu behave like dogs who have seen a meat whenever they set their eyes on money.
The outspoken Member of Parliament of the Odododiodoo constituency was reacting to the revelations from Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest documentary on corruption in football and politics – where several high ranking members in the GFA, including the President Kwesi Nyantakyi, Eddie Doku, Kofi Manu and others were implicated in acts of corruption.
Speaking to Happy FM’s Mac–Paradise Okocha, Hon. Nii Lante descended heavily on Manu and Doku claiming that their love for money blindfolded them in accepting the bribe.
“J.F Mensah and Kweku Eyiah have shown me that the association still has people with integrity. If you could remember anytime I speak to you [Okocha] I talk about some good nuts at the FA, I always mentioned Kweku Eyiah, I him very he was my mate, I also mentioned George Afriyie and others,” Hon Nii Lante told Happy FM.
“Someone like Eddie Doku… as for him taking bribe am not surprised likewise Kofi Manu. Excuse me to say Eddie Doku and Kofi Manu are like dogs that have seen a meat anytime they see money, so I was not surprised they both took bribe.”
“But for Lawyer Ayiah, I known the kind of person he is, is not easy person to be manipulated.”
“Another one that took me by surprise was Sannie Daara, you have worked at the BBC before, by the grace of God, you have been lifted up and you allow small trap to get you,” he concluded.
Lawyer Eyiah Executive Committee member of the FA refused attempts to influence team selection for the U-17 world cup in India in exchange for money.
Experienced match commissioner, JF Mensah who also has rich experience in football and business administration, project management also rejected the Anas’ investigative bribe
