In-form Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil has emerged as a transfer target for several clubs in Europe following his impressive debut campaign in Hungary.
Paintsil joined Hungarian giants Ferencvarosi at the start of the just ended season from Tema Youth and quickly became a mainstay in the side with his terrific display.
The 20-year-old’s performance did not go unnoticed as it was earlier reported that German side FC Cologne have expressed interest in acquiring his services.
But reports emerging from the camp of Ferencvarosi indicate that RSC Anderlecht, FC Basel, Werder Bremen and Club Brugge have entered the fray.
Paintsil netted 10 goals with seven assists in his 29 appearances for Ferencvaros TC.
