Ghana midfielder Wakaso Mubarak has named Celtic’s Scott Brown as the best captain he has ever played with.
The Deportivo Alaves made the revelation on Tuesday while sending wishes to the Scot on his 33rd birthday, hailing his leadership skills.
Both men played together at Celtic during the 2014-15 season under coach Ronny Deila.
Wakaso, 27, has worked with several skippers in the Black Stars set up including John Mensah and Asamoah Gyan.
Wakaso opted not to play the friendly games against Japan and Iceland last month.

He boasts of 51 international appearances for Ghana since 2012 with 12 goals.
