Western Regional Football Association chairman Kojo Yankah has once again lashed out at the sports minister for being the cause of the recent poor results of the Black Stars.
Kojo Yankah, who is also a member of the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee believes Nii Lante Vanderpuije is killing the spirit of the Black Stars because of his blatant dislike for Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Kojo Yankah said the sports minister has sidelined Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi in all activities and preparatory plans of the Black Stars. is
“If there is one we have to blame for the Black Stars recent poor results, it should be Nii Lante Vanderpuije and not Avram Grant. Nii Lante is killing the spirit of the Black Stars. He is using his blatant hatred for Kwesi Nyantakyi to stifle the progress of the national team. He has left out Kwesi Nyantakyi in all the preparatory stages of the Black Stars which is the reason why we are struggling to get good results recently.” Yankah told Happy FM.
The Black Stars have amassed only one point from their first two games in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
