Award winning Ghanaian raggae/dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has been nominated for the second edition of the prestigious JACK DANIELS NIGHTLIFE AWARDS [JDNA].
The event which will be held on Wednesday 25th July 2018 at “the nightlife factory”, PLOT SEVEN Nightclub also has late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns on the nominees list.
JDNA is the official awards rewarding excellence in the burgeoning nightlife industry in the country.
Following an exciting launch earlier in May; anticipation is certainly high for the biggest night in the Nightlife industry.
Competition as well is very rife in most of the coveted categories.
D-Black’s Onyx Nightclub tops the nods with nominations for Best Nightclub; Best Weekly Event and Party of the Year. KOD’s star studded “BLACK IS BLACK” also received a nod for Party of the Year.
2017’s Best Nightclub, Carbon is looking to retain the coveted tag of “the Best Club in the land” whiles Twist and PLOT 7 are also in contention for a second consecutive year, further cementing their places as the Best Nightclubs in the country.
Last year’s big winners DJ Mensah and AKWAABA UK have multiple nominations after another successful series of events in December with both DJ Mensah’s All White Party and the AKWAABA UK All Black Party nominated for Party of the year. They are also looking to retain their tag as the “Promoters of the Year.
DJ Vyrusky, Mic Smith, DJ Nyce, Frenchkiss DJ and BIG L are for the coveted Nightlife DJ of the year.
Social media and party Queens, Shatter Michy and Hajia4Real also earned a nomination for “Party of the Year” with their hugely successful rave, GLOBAL WAVE 2.
@Nkonkonsa, @YemmeyBaba @RonnieIsEverywhere, @joeychase @niidahyper and others are also in contention for the “Social Media Influencer of The Year. “ Three new categories have been introduced this year; they include EMERGING BRAND OF THE YEAR, BEST NIGHTLIFE MC and BEST NIGHTLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER.
