The Apostles Revelation Society (ARS) Church’s digital media is set to launch its ARS online radio programmes after a successful test of digital transmission on the ARS Online and a regional tour to Ho in the Volta Region to out-door its members to the Church.

The ARS Church believes that, as a Church, one of the fastest medium to evangelize to the world is via Digital Media, so it is focused on connecting and bringing the entire Church together in one virtual community through the power of technology.

The event is grounded on the theme ‘Digital Media, The Modern Instrument for Evangelism’.

The event is slated for Sunday, 21st October, 2018 at the Pensioner’s Hall starting from 2:00pm.

Dzifa Aku Attivor, Former Minister of Transport and the CEO of V1TV and Global FM will brief the audience on the importance of resorting to digital media as one of the ways of disseminating the Gospel to the world.

The ARS Church with its headquarters in Tadzewu in the Ketu North District of the Volta Region is one of the biggest religious institutions that is known for its religious practices in the Volta Region.

The founder of the Church, Prophet Mawu fe Ame Charles Kwabla Nutorntsi Wovenu, who converted the pagan worshippers, encouraged members to worship God by singing, drumming and dancing, which are key traditions of the Ewe people.

It is normal to hear the local Agbadza songs in ARS, which resonates more with Ewes who form the majority of the congregants.

Apart from the Christian practices, the Church has adopted Ewe practices like outdooring of twins, widowhood rites and installation of chiefs.

The Church, which was established in 1939, now boasts of over 700 branches in countries Canada, USA, England, and Holland, France among others.
