We don’t beg bloggers to post our songs – R2bees

There have been countless times a lot of musicians thrive on controversies to sell their songs or remain relevant in the music business but according to R2bees, hardly will they call any publicist to publish a story on their behalf in the name of hype.

According to them, all their belief is in producing good songs that will sell their brand better than relying on fake news and media hypes to promote themselves hence they refrain from relying on bloggers to push their content.

In an interview on Joy FM, Omar Sterling popularly known as Paedae noted that not relying on bloggers have been their tradition from day one.

“I would never send you a song to post for me. [The reason is] I trust the music so much and I believe it will do just right.”

“I don’t think we went through hardships because we started our record label. We don’t know people. We don’t get a lot of good press. We don’t care about all these things. We believe in our music. It’s all about the fans. It’s always been all hands-on board if we are to give gratitude to anyone.”

R2bees are set to launch their new “Site 15” album early next year.

“We’ve pushed our new album to next year because we just dropped the single, “Beautiful”. We worked on it for three years,” Paedae said.
