A member of the legal team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abraham Amaliba, has stated that for an in-depth and complete investigation into the murder of investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein Suale Divela, a member of Tiger Eye Private Investigations, every side must be looked at critically.

‘’Kennedy Agyapong because of his utterances can be said to be an interested party but then, the Tiger eye PI has done several other investigations and people have lost their jobs because of these exposés.Every case he has worked on must be scrutinised to get to the bottom of the case and apprehend perpetrators,’’ he said.

Speaking on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ political show he said ‘’Kennedy Agyapong made certain statements in that famous video and we can’t wish those utterances away.’’

According to Amaliba, Anas Aremeyaw Anas showing the purported video on social media cannot be called an obstruction of justice or interfering in the investigation.

‘’ Recently a court was attacked and the video was uploaded on social media. If that was not wrong then Anas showing that video is also not wrong’’ he said.

‘’There are so many ways of reporting crime and using technology to report crime is not wrong’’ he added.

According to media reports, Ahmed was shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck on Wednesday night at Madina in Accra while he was driving home by unidentified men on a motorbike.

However, Anas in reacting to news of Ahmed’s death posted a video on social media captioned: “sad news, but we shall not be silenced.’’
