Asante Kotoko could be tempted to cancel their move for for Mohammed Kahan after the Burkinabe was involved in a motor accident on Friday night.
According to media reports, the striker striker will be ruled out for three months after fracturing his shoulder.
He has since been treated at a hospital in the capital Ouagadougou.
Kahan was expected in Kumasi last Saturday to seal a three-year contract.
It is unknown if Kotoko will still go ahead and sign the promising youngster for their campaign or abandon the move.
