Veronica and Nana were crowded winner of the maiden edition of the ‘YFM, Baileys R&B Karaoke Odo Ye Baileys Couples Edition’
Veronica and Nana who performed Method Man and Mary J. Blige’s ‘You’re All I Need’ were the winners of ‘YFM, Baileys R&B Karaoke, Odo Ye Baileys Couples Edition’ which took place at Havana Lounge (Marina Mall) in Accra on February 15.
The couple, who have been married for 10 years, won a weekend stay at ‘The Lansdown Resort’ in Aburi while the second couple, The Hansens won vouchers from Touch of Essence Wellness Spa. Dzifa and David placed third and won bottles of Baileys.
YFM’s Room Service gave the couples an opportunity to showcase their singing abilities in the Karaoke session. Last Friday, YFM’s ‘Room Service’ hosted by Agnes Ntow hosted a live Karaoke sing-off at Havanna Lounge inside Marina Mall.
The event was an exclusive package for amateurs with a knack for singing along to their favorite songs.
The event dubbed ‘YFM, Baileys R&B Karaoke, Odo Ye Baileys Couples Edition’, gave patrons the opportunity to sing their favourite songs while a panel of three judges considered the overall talent and stage presence of each contestant.
The audience also served as a veritable fourth judge by submitting votes for their favorites.
The contest was limited to a maximum of 7 contestants.
