On Easter Monday, April 22, YFM Kumasi, Ghana’s number one urban radio station, registered a record-breaking crowd of over 4,000 people at ‘Lakeside Party’ Abono in the Ashanti Region.

As advertised earlier, Y 102.5 FM delivered a topnotch event, which attracted an enormous crowd to party the day away at Lake Bosomtwe in the Ashanti Region.

The ‘Lakeside Party’ had spectacular performances from Flowking Stone, Strongman and Eddy Kay among others who were there to blow the minds of crowd away. YFM Kumasi also provided good music from the best DJs in the region to thrill patrons at the event. The event was also live on Y 102.5 FM.

It can be recalled that in 2018, Y 102.5 FM in Kumasi had a fun filled lakeside party experience with its maiden edition of the ‘Lakeside Concert’ took place at Ankaase and the second edition of the just ended ‘Lakeside Party’ was more patronized than the first.

During the event, YFM Kumasi and the ‘Live Inside and Win the Ride’ (LIWTR) team took advantage to engage people and ultimately sign up individuals who wanted to be part of the reality show.

Ese Adjabeng , Project Manager for the LIWTR reality show urged patrons of the event and others out there who want to win the Renault Duster to “go on any of our three websites – www.etvghana.com, www.yfmghana.com or www.happyghana.com- and look out for the #WintheRide19 tab. This will open a form with an MTN mobile money number on it. You are expected to pay a registration fee of GHC 50.00, enter your transaction ID on the form, complete the forms and you will receive a confirmation message.”

“People can also visit our Happy FM and e.TV Ghana office at Asylum Down, YFM at Accra Mall, YFM Kumasi, YFM Takoradi or our GMA office at Dzorwulu and pick up a form, pay the registration fee of GHC 50.00 via mobile money and write down the transaction ID on the form, complete the forms and submit them at any of our offices,” she disclosed.

The YFM Kumasi ‘Lakeside Party’ is sponsored by Ghana Tourism Authority and Kasapreko Alomo Root Wine.
