Nagging can kill- Sex Coach

Nagging is when someone complains about every situation, usually with negative connotations. This is how Dzifa Sweetness, a sex coach defined nagging on e. TV Ghana’s ‘In Bed with Adwen’.

‘’ There are individuals in relationships who complain about everything that their partners do for them and that has serious repercussions on the relationship. It can even kill in certain cases,’’ she revealed.

She further explained that the nagging phenomenon is old-fashioned.

’’ Most women won’t be patient when their spouses return late from work. The assumption is that he was with a sidechick and they react violently immediately. They unleash their anger by using unprintable words on him,’’ she opined.

‘’I want to tell my fellow women that nagging is outdated. Try new things like calling your husband when he is running late from work and ask him lovingly how his day was at the office. Don’t confront him with unpaid bills immediately he opens the door,’’ she reiterated.

She also narrated a story to support her claim that nagging has a negative effect on relationships
‘’ I remember an incident in my area, one of my neighbour’s car developed a mechanical fault so he returned home very late. This infuriated his wife and she packed out of her matrimonial home to live with her parents because she called severally and couldn’t reach him on phone. When the man provided evidence beyond reasonable doubt that his car developed a fault and his phone was off, resulting in him coming home late, and not that he was with another woman, his wife wanted to come back but he refused that ended their marriage,” she narrated.

Meanwhile nagging is widely defined as ‘to annoy by persistent fault finding, complaints, or demands.’
