As the world celebrated and honored our mothers for their love, sacrifices and impact in our lives over the years, YFM Takoradi, in collaboration with Maggi offered opportunity to selected YFM listeners to cook for their mothers on May 12.
Listeners were asked to send in a 1 minute voice note telling the whole world why their mum is #Momtastic (Fantastic)
Four finalists with the most touching story were selected to compete in the finals where they played several exciting activities like answering questions on how well they know their mothers and how well the mothers also know them.
The four finalists named Obed, Kyei, Aishetu and Veronica also cooked their mum’s favourite dishes.
At the end of the competition Kyei, who cooked braised rice (Angwa Moo) emerged the winner.
All the finalists won amazing prizes including Maggi and YFM souvenirs.
