Taylor, Fatau leads scorers chart in Special Committee

Karela United prolific striker, Diawise Taylor and Abdul Fatau Safiu of Kumasi Asante Kotoko are the top scorers of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalisation Committee (NC) Special Competition.

After match day 11 of the NC special competition, Asante Kotoko striker and free kick expert, Fatau Abudul Safiu is leading the top scorers chat with seven goal in nine matches, though he failed to register a goal at the weekend against AshantiGold in In Zone B.

Aduana Stars captain, Yahaya Mohammed scored the only goal in his side’s home victory against Berekum Chelsea to increase his tally to three, to place second on the chat, Whilst Eleven Wonders duo, Alex Asamoah and Solomon Afriyie also have three goals each to their names.

Elsewhere in Zone B, striker, Diawise Taylor of Karela United continued with his impressive run of form after registering another brace to increase his tally to seven.

The striker has scored two goals each in consecutive three games (Liberty, WAFA and Inter Allies).

Liberty Professionals Simon Zibo and Benjamin Esson have four goals each to  their names while Accra Hearts of Oak’s striker  Joseph Esso and Effiong Msungusi Junior of Inter Allies also have four goals each.

ZONE A

1.Abdul Fatau Safiu (Kotoko) – 7 goals

2.Yahaya Mohammed (Aduana) – 3 goals

  1. Alex Asamoah (Eleven Wonders)- 3 goals
  2. Fatau Abdul Rahman (Aduana) – 3 goals
  3. Solomon Afriyie (Eleven Wonders) – 3 goals

ZONE B

  1. Diawise Taylor (Karela United)- 8 goals
  2. Simon Zibo (Liberty) – 4 goals
  3. Benjamin Eshun (Liberty) – 4 goals
  4. Joseph Esso (Hearts of Oak) – 4 goals
  5. Effiong Msungusi ( Inter Allies) – 4 goals
