Black Stars Coach, James Kwesi Appiah met Black Stars General Captain Asamoah Gyan today in Accra to iron out their differences after recent conflicts between them. Asamoah Gyan and his head coach has been loggerheads after he was stripped of the captaincy ahead of the 2019 edition of the Africa Cup Of Nations in Egypt next month.
Gyan who felt betrayed and insulted decided to retire from the National but later rescinded his decision after Ghana president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo intervened.
He was however, promoted as a General Captain of the team with his inclusion in Kwsei Appiah’s provisional 29-man squad.
