Bernard Dong Bortey’s dream of re-launching his football career with Accra Hearts of Oak hit a snag after the club refused to sign him for the up-coming season.
Bortey, 33, has extreme hopes of making an impression on his return to the club where he got his fame in the game but the technical team had other ideas.
The club has shot down an attempt to sign the former Ghana Under-17 star.
Bortey has been told to look elsewhere after playing a cameo role for the side in the G6 tournament.
He will be seeking a new adventure after having his dream quashed by the Phobians.
