The National Armwrestling Team, The Golden Arms will leave Accra on Thursday 11th July 2019 for the 10th Africa Armwrestling Championships to be held in Bamako, Mali.
The Golden Arms, made up of a contingent of 3 women and 9 men, have set a target of winning 20 medals in the championship.
Last year, the team polled a total of 88 medals to make their host and win agenda a reality, clocking 31 gold medals in the process.
The Ghana Arm Wrestling Federation,GAF, recently announced a partnership with kits manufacturing company, Strike.
The participation of the team in the championship has been made possible by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and other co operate bodies such as K-Balm Ointment, Club Consult Africa, Asky Airlines, Ghana Revenue Authority, Opportunity International Savings and Loans and the many others.
