Regional coordinator of the National Health Insurance (NHIS) in the Greater Accra Region has received an overwhelming support of the Klottey Korle Constituency.
He garnered five hundred and eleven (511) votes while his only contender Henry Harold Quartey got three hundred (300) votes.
Prince Appiah Debrah will face former President Jerry John Rawlings daughter Zanetor Rawlings who is seeking a second term as the Member of Parliament of Klottey Korle constituency.
Mr. Debrah who is seen as a public-spirited individual who has also championed many educational and community development projects at Osu, brings to the Klottey Korle constituency NPP a new sense of optimism but he will have to battle the ‘golden child’ of Klottey Korle in the 2020 elections. Both candidates (Prince Debrah and Zanetor Rawlings) have a rich political heritage making the constituency one to watch in the upcoming general elections.
