Ghanaian music producer, Albert Hansen popularly known as Ball J has disclosed that people refer to him as “brodie beats” instead of his stage name Ball J.
He was speaking with Happy FM’s DJ Advicer on the “Ayekoo After Drive” show.
“I recently went to Kumasi and the people there referred to me as “Brodie Beats” instead of Ball J Beats. I have corrected them several times even going as far as granting interviews on twenty-five radio stations in Kumasi”, he said.
He also revealed that he was named Ball J by JaySo during their high school days. According to him, he had the name because his friend JaySo believed he balled like Rapper Jay Z of America.
Ball J who is known for popular sounds of songs such “Lapaz Toyota” and YOLO series is now promoting his new single dubbed “Papa No Nie”.
