Multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel artiste, Joyce Blessing has said that she performs for churches and other bodies at a charge as her gospel music is a work she does for living.
She was speaking in interview with Happy FM’s Doctar Cann on the ‘Showbiz Xtra’ show aired on Saturdays.
“The music I produce is a work I am paid for. If you want me to perform at a show, my management will meet with you and give out details of the payment”, she said.
According to her, as a gospel artiste, you need to have a team and a management to manage the talent God has given you so that you can help the needy. “Your acts should earn you some money so that people can glorify God if they see that you never beg to eat”, she added.
She also mentioned that as a gospel artiste, branding is very important because God can bless one through the efforts he or she puts in image building.
Joyce Blessing is set to host a gospel concert dubbed ‘DOXAZO 2019 on the 15th of December, 2019.
