2019/20 GPL: Hearts lose to Chelsea as Kotoko pip Eleven Wonders

Hearts of Oak suffered a shock defeat to Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium in the opening fixture of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

Jona Attuquaye scored the only goal of the game for Berekum Chelsea to secure the win for the away side. The Phobians failed to get the needed equalizer in the game.

At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Justice Blay’s lone strike secured the win for Asante Kotoko against Eleven Wonders on match day one.
Maxwell Konadu got his team to a good start with the win as they aim to win the title at the end of the season.

Yahaya Mohammed was the hero on the day as he bagged a hat trick for Aduana Stars in their 4-0 win over Inter Allies at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa.
Justice Anane got the fourth goal for the Ogya lads.

The 2017 Ghana Premier League champions after this result have showed their intent to be considered as title considers

Accra Great Olympics fell to AshantiGold at the Len Clay Sports Stadium by 3-0.
Goals by Yusif Mubarak, Amos Addae and Shafiu Mumuni saw the miners thrash the “dade boys”.
