Happy FM’s lead sports producer and broadcast journalist Mac-Paradise Okocha is set to leave Accra for Gabon on Friday ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations which begins on January 14.
Okocha is part of a set of selected astute journalists who are being taken to the tournament by cable television network Supersport and it’s his 3rd in the series after going for the 2010 World Cup draw in South Africa as well as the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
He will bring live reports and exclusive interviews to Happy FM listeners from the Black Stars camp in Port Gentil, Gabon, where they will be based with other teams like Mali, Egypt and Uganda.
Coach of the Black Stars, Avram Grant and his charges have been tasked to win the up-coming AFCON after going 35 years without winning the trophy.
